Il Giorno della Terra, in inglese Earth Day, è il nome usato per indicare il giorno in cui si celebra l’ambiente e la salvaguardia del pianeta Terra. Le Nazioni Unite celebrano questa festa ogni anno nell’equinozio di primavera, ma è un’osservanza ufficializzarla il 22 aprile di ciascun anno.
La festività è riconosciuta da ben 192 nazioni e viene celebrata da quasi mezzo miliardo di persone.
Nata il 22 aprile 1970 per sottolineare la necessità della conservazione delle risorse naturali della Terra, come movimento universitario, nel tempo, l’Earth Day è divenuta un avvenimento educativo ed informativo.
Io, nel mio piccolo, oggi, voglio lasciarvi con qualche “trucchetto” per essere GREEN & FASHION allo stesso tempo, proponendovi qualche pezzo cool per essere sempre vicini alla nostra amata terra.
