Stella McCartney supports BID to Save the Earth

 

Quest’anno a sostegno della Christie’s Green Auction: BID to Save the Earth, Stella ha donato una collezione di Falabella “eco-friendly” che sono state reinterpretate come opere d’arte da cinque artisti, tra cui Mr. Brainwash, Bunta Inoue, David Foox, Justin Terry e Peter Tunney.

Il ricavato andrà ad alcune delle principali organizzazioni ambientali, tra cui Oceana, Natural Resources Defense Council, Conservation International e Central Park Conservancy.

L’asta ha avuto luogo Mercoledì 11 Aprile alle 6:30 pm presso Christie a New York, e le borse sono disponibili per le offerte su www.charitybuzz.com / BidtoSaveTheEarth fino al 19 aprile 2012.

Questo progetto, che unisce arte e moda, riflette lo spirito di collaborazione che è fondamentale per l’iniziativa Christie’s Green Auction.

Stella McCartney supports BID to Save the Earth

This year in support of the Christie’s Green Auction: BID to Save the Earth, Stella donated a collection of eco-friendly Falabella’s that were recreated as works of art by five top artists, including Mr. Brainwash, Bunta Inoue, David Foox, Justin Terry and Peter Tunney.

Proceeds from the Green Auction benefit leading environmental organizations including Oceana, Natural Resources Defense Council, Conservation International and Central Park Conservancy.

The auction took place Wednesday April 11th at 6:30pm at Christie’s in New York, and the bags are available for bidding on www.charitybuzz.com/BidtoSaveTheEarth until April 19th, 2012.

This project, which merges art and fashion, reflects the spirit of collaboration which is central to the Green Auction initiative.
